SA FONT FRESCA 57

The project is situated in the Sierra Tramuntana (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the village of Deià. Surrounded by towering mountains and within walking distance of the Mediterranean Sea, the property presents an excellent investment opportunity.

With a rental license already in place, the property has the potential to generate a healthy income. Therefore, a renovation would be necessary to enhance the appeal of the property.

The former design of the house had several focal points that required attention. The homeowners emphasised their desire for a cozy, calm, and efficient living space.

Every item designed for the space was crafted using raw materials sourced exclusively from local suppliers. A beautiful local stone, found in the mountains of Mallorca, is the Binissalem stone. A soft, grey marble with glittering veins of quartz. Due to its robust nature and aesthetic softness, this stone works beautifully as the countertop and basins for the project.  Aged oak wood for shelves and tables pairs naturally with this stone, adding to the rustic modern design approach to the house. Brass would be the metal of choice for the project. Brass, gifted with the natural ability to age into an alluring patina, gives a texture to the soft modern home.

Blending natural materials and embracing the beauty of their aging patinas ensures that the rustic project harmonizes seamlessly with the surrounding environment of the Tramuntana Mountains.
